ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the Count Room Manager, the incumbent, either personally or through subordinates, is responsible for the collection, sorting, counting and recording of gaming results and the overall operation and maintenance of the Count Room and currency counting equipment. The Lead Count Room Attendant provides excellent customer service to all employees and vendors in all situations. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Indiana Grand Casino policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and Indiana Gaming Regulations. Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED is required as well as one to two (1-2) years supervising money room or count room; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. Experience with computerized casino/hospitality software system, currency counting equipment and 10-key adding machine are preferred. Must be able to handle non-standard situations where some judgment is required. Must possess the ability to operate computer and software programs. Must be able to interact effectively with other departments and regulatory agencies. Must be able to effectively supervise subordinates. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be at least 21 years of age or older and be able to obtain an Indiana Gaming License. Must possess good interpersonal skills. Be available to work various shifts, weekends or holidays.

This position has access to the sensitive keys for the Count Room, Slot machine belly door keys, Bill Validator drop box compartment keys, BVA contents keys, and Bill Validator collection cart keys.
ACCESS TO GAMING FLOOR
