Job description

Pay range: $80,000 - 90,000K plus incentive compensation bonus
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (1:00PM to 9:30PM)
A Taste of the Role:
  • Work with Quality Assurance on shift to ensure product quality standards, minimize held production, and ensure proper disposition occurs when holding product is necessary
  • Ensure production for shift is on schedule and within budget, plan production for remaining shifts of the week
  • Working with maintenance and the Production Manager to understand optimal machine setups, coordinate preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical problems, to optimize performance of equipment and facilities
  • Ensuring that lean practices are being incorporated and continuously used to maximize efficiencies
  • Coach and develop employees, correct deficiencies, and implement discipline procedures
  • Ensuring that the work environment is meeting safety and health standards and that equipment Is well-maintained functions reliably
  • Assist in carefully plan the utilization of materials and other resources to minimize waste, properly utilize labor, and minimize line downtime
  • Work with shipping / receiving personnel to ensure proper FIFO of raw materials and WIP management
  • Understand the role of IFS to ensure proper allocation of materials to production runs
  • Participating in the selection of staff; providing or coordinating staff training; working with employees to correct deficiencies; implementing discipline procedures; and providing timely, accurate, and thorough Performance Reviews for supervised employees

Path for Success:
  • Five years of manufacturing experience and 2-3 years of direct supervision in manufacturing
  • Proven track record of achieving results through the growth and development of others
  • Demonstrated ability to collect data, analyze and draw facts, make decisions based on those facts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel
