Job Title: Tooling Engineer
Location: Libertyville, IL
About Role:
We are hiring a Tooling Engineer with 8+ years of experience in thermoplastics, thermosets, and injection molding.
The role involves designing and validating molds, jigs, and fixtures, conducting DFM evaluations, troubleshooting tooling issues, and implementing cost-effective design changes.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on qualification, sampling, and final approvals, while preparing and maintaining all tooling documentation.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of injection molding, mold flows, and tooling validation.
  • Experience with PCB operations and electronic assembly.
  • Skilled in testing and inspection using oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and measuring tools.
