Job Overview

Bajo las instrucciones del Supervisor(a) de turno y/o el itinerario de produccion, instala y desmonta una variedad de moldes en las maquinas de moldeo plastico por inyeccion.  Ajusta, conecta, coordina equipos auxiliares para producir piezas plasticas, siguiendo procedimientos y parametros establecidos. Coordina constantemente con el taller de moldes, "Process Monitor" y Supervisor(a).

A Day In The Life
  • Utilizando el equipo de proteccion personal requerido por Seguridad Ocupacional y una variedad de equipos y herramientas de mano y automaticas, remueve e instala moldes en las maquinas de moldeo para que produzcan piezas plasticas segun los estandares de calidad.
  • Es responsable por utilizar, proteger y crear:  Hojas de "Set Up" en la cual documenta ajustes de los parametros, si realizo alguno.  Hoja de "Set Up Daily Report".
  • Prepara todos los equipos auxiliares necesarios para operar, tales como: "controllers", "dryers part", "separators" etc.
  • Hace recomendaciones para mejorar los procesos.
  • Genera "Job Orders" solicitando servicios de mantenimiento y/o reparacion para moldes, maquinas y/o equipos auxiliares cuando sea necesario.
  • Se asegura que hace uso del equipo de transportacion en forma segura para su seguridad, la de sus companeros de trabajo y la del molde.
  • Cuando la maquina que se este cualificando esta lista para manufactura, notifica al Asociado III responsable de operar la misma.
  • Asiste a los Mecanicos en reparaciones de los equipos de Moldeo, segun instrucciones del Supervisor(a).
  • Debe seguir los principios de SMED y adiestrarse en todos los modulos de Paulson en un minimo de doce meses (1 ano).
  • Se asegura de cumplir y llevar a cabo lo establecido en las Politicas, Procedimientos y Reglas de Seguridad Ocupacional, Calidad, Ambiental, Seguridad de Planta Fisica, Finanzas, y otras.
  • Realiza otras tareas relacionadas segun instrucciones del Supervisor(a) o personal representante de la unidad de negocio. 
What will help you thrive in this role?
  • Escuela Superior completada en una institucion acreditada y experiencia minima de seis (6) meses en el uso de maquinas de moldeo por inyeccion o maquinas automatizadas, requerido.
  • Lectura y comprension basica del idioma Ingles, requerido.
  • Se requieren destrezas de matematica basica como: suma, resta, multiplicacion, y division de numeros enteros.
  • Se requieren destrezas mecanicas como: hidraulica, electrica, electronica, relacionadas al proceso de moldeo plastico, preferible.
  • Conocimiento basico en lectura de planos y paneles computadorizados, preferible.
  • Conocimiento y experiencia practica en el uso de "pallet jacks", montacargas y otros equipos relacionados, recomendable.
