Job description

We are looking to add to our team of Mold Technicians (Mold Set Up) for our injection molding facility. Mold Technicians are responsible for safe and efficient mold changes. This includes preparation of mold that will go into the press, shut down of mold currently running, disconnect and removal of all auxiliary equipment, remove mold from molding machine, set up next mold into molding machine and connect all auxiliary equipment. Enter process parameters into molding machine. Housekeeping at end of the mold change to ensure area is cleaner than when you started. This requires following all lock out tag out procedures, safely operating overhead crane and hi-lo. This position is a steppingstone to a Process Technician role. We run 3 shifts with some weekend work.
