Job Title: Mold Maintenance Technician
Department: Tool Shop
Report to: Tool Room Supervisor
Prepared Date: 9/10/2026
Summary:
The Mold Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely performing essential duties associated with the job while maintaining a high-level of quality and efficiency. This is an entry level position.
Essential Duties amp; Responsibilities:
  • Disassemble and re-assemble molds
  • Perform PM and insert changes on injection molds
  • Maintain tooling location and organized work area
  • Assist tool makers with repairs
  • Close out assigned work orders on MRP System
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None
Qualifications:
  • Manual dexterity and coordination
  • Great Attention to detail
  • Work well with others
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Willingness to learn new things
  • Willing to get hands dirty
  • Be able to disassemble and assemble different things properly
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor
  • Familiarity with machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders (preferred)
  • Ability to read and comprehend work instructions
  • Ability to read blueprints (preferred)
  • Knowledge of computer systems (Word, Excel)
Education and/or Experience:
  • High school diploma preferred
Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
  • Proficient in measuring in tenths with tools such as micrometers
Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to recognize non-compliance to work standards and contact appropriate supervision or management staff

  • None required
Physical Demands:
  • Extended hours standing and repetitive tasks
  • Standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting up to 75 pounds regularly
Work Environment:
