Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Indoor Air Quality Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in mold inspection and remediation, odor removal, and indoor environmental testing. Youll play a key role in identifying contamination sources, performing safe and effective remediation, and restoring healthy living and working environments for our customers.
Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site inspections to assess indoor air quality, moisture issues, and contamination sources.
  • Perform mold and odor remediation following IICRC, EPA, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Set up and maintain containment areas, negative air pressure systems, and HEPA filtration equipment.
  • Operate specialized tools including air scrubbers, ozone generators, hydroxyl machines, and moisture meters.
  • Perform HVAC cleaning, deodorization, and surface disinfection as needed.
  • Take air and surface samples for lab analysis (when certified).
  • Document all work through job logs, photos, and detailed reports.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, supervisors, and team members.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in air quality, mold, or restoration work (preferred).
  • IICRC certification in Applied Microbial Remediation (AMRT), Odor Control (OCT), or Water Damage Restoration (WRT) preferred.
  • Knowledge of air purification, dehumidification, and HVAC systems a plus.
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined or elevated spaces.
