Summary of Role:
Provide technical leadership and expertise in process engineering for semiconductor manufacturing.
Essential Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership and expertise in process engineering for semiconductor manufacturing. Lead the development of new semiconductor processes and technologies to improve yield, performance, and reliability. Identify opportunities for process optimization and work on continuous improvement projects to enhance production efficiency. Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to the semiconductor manufacturing process. Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, integration, and production to ensure seamless process flow. Lead or contribute to projects aimed at developing, validating, and implementing new processes or process improvements. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians in process engineering. Interface with other fabs and global teams for technology transfer and process ramp-up. Responsible for developing and modifying process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards, creating, analyzing and reviewing technical charts. He will also be involved in developing and modifying process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards, establish SOP (Standard operating process) and perform FMEA (Failure mode and effects analysis) for related process. Review product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules. Integrate equipment and material capabilities to meet process module and technology specifications, and drive CIP (Continuous improvement plans) to improve process performance indices. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver organizational goals.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education - Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, a related field, or a foreign equivalent.
  • Experience - 4 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any engineering related job titles. Applicants must possess at least 4 years of experience in the following: (1) managing and optimizing the chemical mechanical planarization process in support of creating flat and uniform surfaces for subsequent lithography and etching steps; (2) CMP Process Development for new incoming technologies; (3) Monitoring process performance and implementing adjustments to maintain quality and yield targets; (4) Maintaining production quality and yield in semiconductor fabrication; (5) Cost control and inventory management; (6) CMP Polish Tools; (7) CMP Recipe Creation and Development; and (8) Project Management and Design of experiments.

Expected Salary Range
Salary range: $130,957 - $146,000/year
