Job Summary:

The Sales and Design Manager is tasked with collaborating with qualified incoming leads to ensure that each project is accurately designed to meet client-specific objectives. The main goal of this role is to close all opportunities that align with Allied Modular's criteria for a successful project, thereby surpassing the company's sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively listen to each qualified prospect to determine exactly what they need to accomplish.
  • Ask further qualifying questions to ensure their project is a good fit for the Allied Modular system.
  • Arrange calls between engineering and the client to collaboratively draft a design during the call, ensuring it meets the client's expectations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and estimating to generate precise quotes for the specified scope of work for each project.
  • Present the Allied Modular solution and pricing clearly to each customer, ensuring they fully understand what is needed to execute their project.
  • Close all projects that align with Allied Modular’s standards for a successful project, ensuring all necessary paperwork and documentation are accurately and promptly submitted.
  • Effectively communicate the requirements of each project across departments to set all teams up for success.
  • Maintain the status and activity of all accounts and opportunities through the use of the CRM system.
  • Report the status of accounts and pipeline to leadership.
  • Engage with an assigned list of active accounts to enhance and solidify our relationships with each one.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering technical presentations for current and prospective clients.
  • Facilitate the process of preparing concise proposals, designs, and other documentation as required for client offering presentations.

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • 3-5 years of previous sales experience and demonstrated selling skills with a proven record of accomplishment of achieving established goals and quotas
  • Strong working knowledge of the construction industry and/or material handling is preferred
  • Account management and closing skills required
  • Organization and time management skills are necessary
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others and thrive in a team environment
  • Previous CRM experience necessary (Dynamics 365 preferred)
  • Must have a passion for producing a high-quality solution for customers

Position often requires travel to the customer’s location and/or project sites and may require overnight stay.

Compensation package:

  • Base of $75,000
  • Bonus opportunities

Travel requirement:

  • Up to 25% travel
