Job Overview
We are currently looking for an Architectural Market Manager to join our team in Dallas, TX, Austin, TX, or Oklahoma. The position will be required to cover all these markets.
As an Architectural Market Manager, you will be a:
Strategic business developer responsible for growing Haworth's architectural products business by executing targeted sales plans, building trusted relationships with key decision makers, and clearly communicating the value of modular construction to expand market share. Develops and manages business plans that drive revenue growth, builds a strong sales funnel, and achieve sales targets. Identifies and advances wall opportunities through strategic engagement with A+D firms, general contractors, dealers, and key influencers. Collaborates closely with regional sales teams and channel partners to align strategies and increase sales performance.
Essential Functions
  • Develops, executes, and manages business plans to grow walls opportunities through regional strategies and key partners, aligning with sales teams and leadership to expand market share.
  • Develops and manages strong relationships with key decision makers by understanding their business needs and clearly communicating the value of modular construction and Haworth's solutions.
  • Creates strategies to increase architectural product market share by leveraging Haworth resources and key sales tools.
  • As a regional expert on interior construction, wall design, and modular construction, provides technical, design, and service guidance to end users, dealers, A+D firms, general contractors, and installer partners.
  • Cultivates client and influencer relationships to close opportunities, address objections, and negotiate long term, profitable agreements; collaborates with sales teams and channel partners to position architectural interiors solutions.
  • Maintains forward looking market intelligence, stays current on product knowledge, industry and competitive trends; networks with business leaders and influencers to uncover high value opportunities and build strong relationships.
  • Effectively manages business plan, keeps information current on sales activities, ongoing strategy for sales development, and results for all accounts, target, and new business opportunities.
  • May travel up to 80% to meet face to face with clients, influencers, and dealers.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, architecture, interior design, industrial design, project management, marketing, communications or equivalent.
  • Education Equivalency:
    • Associate's degree plus 2 years related experience or,
    • High school diploma plus 4 years related experience.

Work Experience:
  • 7 years experience in business-to-business, solution-based sales, design, or marketing, with demonstrated expertise in lead generation and concept selling and successful sales track record with Bachelor's Degree
    • Or 5 years experience in business-to-business, solution-based sales, design, or marketing, with demonstrated expertise in lead generation and concept selling and successful sales track record with Master's Degree

Additionally:
  • Ability to work in Dallas, TX or Austin, TX, or Oklahoma without relocation assistance.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with architecture and design community, general contractors, real-estate partners, and channel partners preferred.
  • Modular walls experience preferred.
  • Affiliation with BOMA, CoreNet, CCA and/or NAIOP preferred.
