Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex IT infrastructure and modernization initiatives for a government client. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing enterprise technology projects, coordinating cross-functional technical teams, and delivering projects involving infrastructure upgrades, cloud technologies, application modernization, and system integrations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple enterprise IT projects through the full project lifecycle.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and resources.
  • Coordinate infrastructure, application development, database, cloud, security, and vendor teams.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans, schedules, RAID logs, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Provide regular project status updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Partner with architects and technical leads to identify project impacts, implementation risks, and deployment strategies.
  • Manage vendor and contractor deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
  • Support infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, and enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational governance standards and project management best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of IT Project Management experience.
  • Proven experience managing infrastructure or technical IT projects.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.
  • Strong risk, issue, and resource management experience.
  • Knowledge of PMI, Agile, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
  • PMP Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with infrastructure modernization, server upgrades, migrations, or enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server, SQL Server, cloud platforms, networking, or enterprise applications.
  • Experience working with architects, infrastructure engineers, and software development teams.
