Job description

Job Description


The Janitorial Site Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations and administrative activities to ensure conformance to contract requirements at a 24/7 manufacturing location in Topeka, KS. The Janitorial Site Manager develops and implements level-of-service standards to ensure compliance with customer specifications and contract requirements for the assigned facility. This manager will oversee quality control, inventory of equipment and supplies, and ensure the site is operating within budget parameters.


The Janitorial Site Manager is an industry professional with extensive client relationship experience and a positive attitude. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of progressive leadership, , and proven industry experience managing in complex manufacturing facilities. 

Experience in food manufacturing or with GMP cleaning is a plus.


Salary: $75,000


Hours: 45+ hours a week; M-F with occasional weekend hours required


Location: Topeka, KS on-site (this is not a remote position)

Essential Functions


  • Assists in managing the Janitorial operational performance of the site while building and maintaining solid customer relationships.
  • Responsibilities include evaluating performance and scope of work, understanding and resolving customer complaints, and providing feedback and disciplinary action for employees.
  • Accountable for Training supervisors across multiple shifts
  • Demonstrates commitment to safety and quality of service.
  • Oversee the daily operations of staff members in a complex environment.
  • Implements processes and procedures to drive improvements.
  • Troubleshoots potential problems and concerns.
  • Manages the company’s quality control monitoring and safety programs at the assigned facility
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and all federal, state, and local government regulations.
  • Ensures accurate and timely submission of all required paperwork.
  • Provides leadership and growth development to Supervisors and Lead personnel assigned to the buildings.
  • Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments, adjusting strategies to meet evolving client needs.
  • Effectively manages multiple tasks and priorities, showcasing strong multitasking abilities.
  • Holds oneself accountable for project outcomes, ensuring responsibilities are met with integrity.
  • Exhibits ownership by proactively addressing challenges and driving continuous improvement.


Requirements


  • 5+ years of management experience with managing a team across multiple working shifts in a commercial cleaning setting
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in Spanish, speaking and writing, is a plus
  • Multi-tasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Ability to execute against a project plan
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
