Camp Counselor - Residential Camp (Seasonal)Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson, Inc. Rock Hill, NY Seasonal- June to August | Full-TimeCompensation: $2,025 - $2,325 (seasonal stipend)

Spend your summer outdoors, build lifelong friendships, and make a lasting impact on campers' lives. As a Camp Counselor, you'll be a mentor, role model, and guide-helping campers grow in confidence, independence, and leadership while creating unforgettable camp memories.

What You'll Do
  • Support the Unit Leader in planning and leading daily camp activities
  • Build meaningful connections with campers and foster an inclusive, respectful environment
  • Teach basic camping skills and inspire a love for the outdoors
  • Supervise camper safety, including health, wellness, and daily routines
  • Help maintain clean, organized, and safe living spaces
  • Assist with swimming supervision and waterfront activities (training provided if needed)
  • Encourage teamwork, leadership, and camper participation through Girl Scout programming
  • Participate in weekly Thursday overnight experiences
