Job description

Auria is seeking Modeling amp; Simulation (M amp;S) Analysts to support the National Space Defense Center(NSDC) located at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly motivated group of M amp;S SMEs which has been developing complex orbital simulations for the Space Force Tier 1 exercises for the last 5 years. The position requires highly motivated, team players who are willing to move into and out of their expertise comfort zones for the NSDC to expand M amp;S mission areas and support.
This role is ONSITE at Schriever SFB - 720 Irwin Ave. in Colorado Springs, CO.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
  • Seeking a Mod and Sim professional that is highly skilled in Systems Tool Kit (STK) and other simulation tools in order to support operations and training at the NSDC at Schriever SFB.
  • Mod and Sim efforts will be used to increase customer capability for live, virtual and constructive training as well as expanding experimentation at the NSDC.
  • Modeling and simulation of real world engagements, training events and mission planning operations will play a key role in expanding customer understanding of the warfighting domain and support the development of tactics, techniques and procedures
  • Mod and Sim products will provide a foundation for future requirements development of common operating picture tools used in operations
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:
  • Active TS/SCI is required
  • Requires strong knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined withexperience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of4 years of prior related experience
  • Requires strong knowledge of space operations, orbital mechanics, and the Space Domain Awarenessmission area
  • Possess advanced knowledge of Systems Tool Kit (STK), Model Based Systems Engineering software(MBSE), and Systems Modeling software (SysML); knowledge of Space Domain Command and
  • ControlSystem (SDCCS) is beneficial
  • Experience with wargame model development and the integration of realworld data into hypotheticalanalysis
  • Experience developing courses of action for operational maneuvers and applying analysis of alternatives(AoA) in operations planning and what-if drills
  • Possess a broad range of knowledge of space systems to include DoD, national assets and adversarysystems
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education amp; experience - and the position level. $90,000 - $130,000
