Who We Are Mission Technologies, a Division of HII is seeking an Image Generator Engineer to support Modeling, Simulation and Training at the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center - Nellis (JITTC-N), Nellis AFB, NV. The individual's primary responsibility will center on deployment, configuring, testing, fielding and maintaining Aechelon Technologies Image Generator (IG) and Multi-Spectral Databases (MSDB) within JSE at the JITTC-N. What You Will Do * The Image Generator Engineer will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, testing, fielding, and maintenance of all Aechelon IGs and MSDB within a dynamic simulator-based environment. This will include, but are not limited to: * Deploy, configure, update, and patch Aechelon Technologies IG systems across multi-channel and multi-function operations. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising from Aechelon Technologies IG systems or their integration with various display solutions, including monitors, projectors, virtual reality (VR), and mixed reality (MR) headsets. * Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Aechelon Technologies MSDBs configured in a multi-level security (3MLS) environment across multiple secure enclaves. * Ensure seamless operation and availability of Aechelon Technologies MSDBs for simulation and training purposes. * Possess sufficient network administration knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to Aechelon Technologies IGs and MSDBs. * Collaborate with other IT and engineering teams to resolve integration challenges within a complex simulation architecture. * Adhere to and enforce information security best practices and procedures, particularly when working with multi-level secure environments. * Maintain vigilance to protect sensitive systems and data across classified enclaves. What You Must Have * 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. * Candidate must have had an active Top Secret Clearance within the last 24 months. * Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain DoD TS/SCI and relevant SAP/SAR Clearance. * Candidate must have strong troubleshooting skills in both hardware and software contexts, including integration with diverse display solutions. * Candidate must have knowledge of network administration principles as they apply to simulator systems. * Candidate must have awareness of and adherence to information security best practices. * Candidate must have proficiency in performing configuration management and collaborating with other configuration managers. * Candidate must be detail-oriented and capable of managing complex systems in a high-stakes environment. * Candidate must have the ability to write processes for simulator technicians and engineers. * Candidate must have strong oral and written communication and organizational skills to produce and maintain technical documents and procedures. * Candidate must have the ability to create and maintain data logging procedures and reports in order to identify issues and submit deficiency reports. * Must be a US citizen. Bonus Points For Having! * Strongly Prefer candidates with an active TS/SCI clearance * Experience in software design, test and implementation within DoD flight simulators. * Experience contributing to the system design or architecture of new and current systems. * Experience with Agile software practices. * Experience supporting Special Access Program (SAP) efforts. * Excellent oral and written communications skills. * BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Degrees in Engineering, Math, and Physics may qualify with at least 1 year of C++ and/or Python experience. * Proficiency in Aechelon Technologies Image Generators and Multi-Spectral Databases. * Familiarity with Aechelon Technologies multi-level security (3MLS) configurations and secure enclave operations.
