Job description

Job Summary
The BIM Modeler is responsible for producing accurate, constructible electrical BIM models under the direction of the BIM Coordinator. This role focuses on model quality, data accuracy, and adherence to company and industry standards.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Use BIM Software to model electrical systems including conduit, lighting, electrical devices, and equipment.
  • Maintain model accuracy through revisions and coordination updates.
  • Apply company and/or project standards for families, parameters, naming conventions, and model data.
  • Generate drawings, schedules, and quantities from internal and external BIM models.
  • Attend regular BIM coordination meetings to support the BIM Coordinator and collaborate on project changes, conflicts and issues.
  • Support electrical prefabrication, layout deliverables, and as-built documentation.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Revit modeling experience focused on electrical installations.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical construction documents.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience working for an electrical contractor.
  • Familiarity with Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
