We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Solutions Architect - AI Solutions to join our team located in United States. You will be a Forward Deploy Strategist for our Financial Services Industry Vertical.
Job Overview:
Lead and scale Perficient's BFSI Product Development and AI Engineering Practice, focused on transforming the software development lifecycle (SDLC) through AI-enabled methodologies in highly regulated financial environments. This senior leadership role blends practice ownership, presales leadership, platform engineering, and innovation governance to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable AI-first solutions for banks, insurers, and financial institutions.
Key Mandate:
Drive AI-enabled SDLC transformation across Financial Services while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory and risk standards, including PCI DSS, SOX, GLBA, data privacy, and model risk management requirements.
Responsibilities
Practice Leadership & Growth
  • Build, lead, and scale Perficient's AI-Driven SDLC offering for BFSI, including enablement, and capability development
  • Own and lead complex enterprise RFPs ($500K-$10M+) for banks, insurers, and financial services clients
  • Develop compelling solution architectures and executive-ready proposal content
  • Establish industry thought leadership through white papers, client roundtables, conference participation, and strategic alliances
  • Define go-to-market strategy, including productized offerings, pricing models, delivery frameworks, and partner ecosystems

Platform Engineering & Architecture
  • Design and oversee enterprise AI-enabled SDLC platforms (cloud-agnostic across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem), with embedded security and compliance
  • Translate BFSI regulations (PCI DSS, SOX, GLBA) into engineering guardrails, control frameworks, and audit-ready architectures
  • Lead delivery of platform MVPs in 6-8 weeks, balancing speed, scalability, and regulatory rigor
  • Establish reference architectures for model governance, prompt management, evidence automation, and secure AI pipelines

Innovation, Risk & Governance
  • Lead and upskill forward-deployed engineering teams, including immersive bootcamps focused on AI, compliance, and secure delivery
  • Partner with client risk, compliance, model governance, and security teams to support AI tool adoption
  • Define model risk management, audit readiness, and AI governance frameworks aligned with BFSI regulatory expectations
  • Participate in client AI governance councils and steering committees to evaluate tooling and risk posture

Client Delivery & Talent Development
  • Provide executive-level solution architecture and delivery oversight across BFSI engagements
  • Conduct C-suite and senior leadership workshops with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, Heads of Engineering, and Risk Leaders
  • Mentor and grow high-performing teams through structured career development and technical coaching
  • Develop reusable assets including demo environments, playbooks, delivery templates, and technical documentation

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, platform delivery, or technology consulting within enterprise environments
  • 5+ years in senior leadership or practice management roles
  • 3+ years of presales / solution architecture experience with documented success closing $5M+ BFSI deals
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
  • Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus.
  • A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's or MBA preferred

Technical & BFSI Regulatory Expertise
  • Deep knowledge of modern SDLC, DevOps, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and AI/ML technologies (LLMs, RAG, agents)
  • Strong technical credibility with the ability to review code, design architectures, and influence senior engineers

Proven expertise in Financial Services regulations, including:
  • PCI DSS

Leadership & Business Acumen

  • Prior experience as a Practice Director, Portfolio Lead, or P&L owner in a consulting organization
  • Published thought leadership, industry publications, or conference presentations
  • Hands-on experience with AI developer tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code)
  • Working knowledge of agent orchestration, prompt engineering, and AI governance tooling
  • Experience delivering AI solutions within Tier 1 banks, large insurers, or capital markets firms
