Drive Value Realization

• Work with Sales Account Manager and Engagement Management to create the program vision based on the business strategy in line with responsible customer business managers

• Guide the customer through the process of value identification and planning

• Communicate and make people understand the value of the program

• Drive customer to realize value from Digital Enterprise Solutions and guide the customer through required value realization plan changes

• Together with Engagement Management, identify and create additional opportunities within and beyond the ongoing program

• Plan the program according to the value realization plan and initiate the required projects to achieve the program vision

Initiate and Execute a Program Structure and Governance Model

• Work with Sales, Services Management to initiate, review and agree a program governance model with the customer

• Execute the program governance model in close cooperation with the customer

• Define and agree the program roles and responsibilities with the customer

• Conduct stakeholder management through systematic identification, analysis and planning of actions to negotiate with and influence stakeholders

• Work with Sales and Services Management to setup of all required processes in alignment with all stakeholders including appropriate communication on all levels for program

Manage the Program throughout the Program life-cycle leveraging Siemens Delivery Framework

• Manage all contracts in the program and derive actions concerning risks, opportunities and contractual obligations with respect to the entire program

• Manage the dependencies and interfaces between projects, establish and publish clear priorities among projects and program activities and coordinate the projects effectively

• Proactively monitor the program's overall progress, resolving issues and initiate corrective and preventive action as appropriate.

• Manage customer requirements and program scope to achieve program objectives

• Perform program risk management including; planning, identification, analysis, response planning and controlling

• Manage and resolve issues with all necessary internal and external partners, initiate extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the program are identified or issues arise

• Enforce change management at the project level to ensure the dependencies of the change is reflected and understood on the program level

• Orchestrate program and project schedules to ensure on time delivery

• Ensure the planned program communications on all levels including escalation procedures and program progress reporting

• Perform program quality management, ensure that the solution meets requirements and is to the appropriate quality and manage compliance to standards, rules and regulations

• Follow the procurement processes

• Manage contract acceptance and handover of projects

• Perform program reviews and retrospectives regularly and feed the results and lessons learned into program and organization

• Work with Project Managers and Services Management to define skill requirements to ensure maximum efficiency in the allocation of resources and skills within the program

Leading the Program and Project Teams

• Agree targets with program staff and delegate defined responsibilities and authority

• Actively seek and provide feedback from program and project team members, managers and customers

• Support team-members' personal development

• Involve the program and project team in the identification and management of changes

• Work with Services Management and Procurement Manager to manage business partners and subcontractors

Manage Program Financials

• Ensure the projects in the program deliver to the approved budget and agreed margin

• Regularly reviews and manages the program budget

• Measure program performance and provide regularly as required a realistic program forecast

• Incorporate program risks from risk assessments into program budget

• Working with services administration to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition for the entire program

• Identifies and minimizes non-conformance costs across the program

Program Leadership

• Lead the program to achieve the program vision and to realize business outcomes

• Lead and own the program and provide strategic decision making

• Together with Sales Account Manager and Engagement Management, set and realign stakeholder expectations

• Actively build relationships with stakeholders

• Together with Services Management and any Program Manager, build, inspire and motivate an effective team

• Motivate and drive excellence with the team, provide recognition and encourage team members personnel development

• Ensure the team members have the materials and equipment to complete their tasks

General
