JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:
The Deposit Pricing Strategy, Senior Manager leads the development, execution, and governance of enterprise-wide deposit pricing strategies across all customer segments (consumer, small business, commercial, and wealth) to support balance sheet growth, liquidity, net interest margin (NIM), and profitability objectives. This role serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership, Treasury, Finance, and ALCO by providing data-driven insights, forecasts, and scenario analyses to inform balance sheet and pricing decisions, while also leading pricing-related technology and process initiatives and maintaining robust pricing governance and policy frameworks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide deposit pricing strategies across all customer segments to support balance sheet growth, liquidity management, net interest margin (NIM), and profitability objectives.
- Translate enterprise financial objectives into actionable pricing tactics, campaigns, product strategies, and portfolio optimization initiatives.
- Oversee deposit pricing governance, including pricing policies, exception rate approval processes, internal controls, and adherence to risk management and governance standards.
- Monitor market conditions, competitor pricing, interest rate environments, and macroeconomic indicators to identify emerging risks, opportunities, and strategic pricing adjustments.
- Develop and maintain advanced pricing analytics and elasticity models to forecast deposit flows and customer behavior under varying interest rate and economic scenarios.
- Conduct scenario modeling, sensitivity analyses, and forward-looking forecasts related to deposit balances, net interest margin, and fee revenue to inform strategic balance sheet decisions.
- Prepare and present pricing performance updates, market insights, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, the Deposit Committee, and Asset Liability Committee (ALCO).
- Facilitate Deposit Committee meetings and decision-making processes to ensure pricing actions align with executive leadership priorities and enterprise financial objectives.
- Partner with Treasury, Finance, Product, Marketing, and Technology teams to integrate pricing strategies into enterprise initiatives, product launches, promotional campaigns, and system capabilities.
- Lead or support technology, analytics, and process improvement initiatives that enhance deposit pricing capabilities, including automation, reporting enhancements, data quality improvements, and analytical efficiency.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

- Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and build consensus with peers and executive leadership.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI required.
- Proficiency in Python and/or R preferred.
