Job description

We are looking for a restaurant Model Host to welcome, greet and seat guests in a gracious, accommodating, and professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Reply and schedule all restaurant reservations from guests in a timely manner.
  • Be knowledgeable with regards to operating hours of the restaurant and any promotion/events.
  • Promote and maintain the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs.
  • Ensure guests are greeted in a friendly and courteous fashion.
  • Monitor the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables.
  • Participate in in-house modeling programs, special casino events, banquet service functions, marketing campaigns and advertising and performs model/presenter tasks.
  • Pose for pictures as requested by management, appear for promotional activities at or away from venue.
  • Participate in marketing, publicity or media materials and assist in the set-up of special events and occasions.
  • Assist the manager with administrative duties.
  • Work as a contributing team member and act in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
  • Possess a positive attitude and work well with others, including reliability and being punctual.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Open availability; must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • All other duties assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required. Must be 21 years old. 1 year restaurant experience preferred. Knowledge of Italian food preferred. Experience of or a good working knowledge of using a computerized ordering system. Must be effective at listening, understanding guest needs and clarifying concerns and issues raised by guests. Ability to be flexible and to perform multiple tasks effectively. Friendly, open disposition and professional presentation. Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
