Production Technician
Temp to Hire
Sun - Wed 7am - 7pm
$18- $24/hr

Summary
The Production Technician will play a key role in maintaining smooth and continuous production line operations. This position focuses on operating automated equipment, performing routine calibrations, identifying and troubleshooting equipment and process issues, and supporting engineers in root cause and failure mode analysis. The Production Technician will work closely with Production and Process Engineers to ensure equipment performance, product quality, and overall manufacturing efficiency meet company standards.
Daily Tasks
  • Operate and monitor production machines to ensure continuous and stable operation.
  • Perform equipment calibration, setup, and verification per established procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.
  • Perform basic repairs and adjustments to maintain uptime and prevent quality deviations.
  • Conduct preliminary root cause analysis on equipment and device failures.
  • Support engineers in identifying and documenting failure modes and contributing factors.
  • Rework failed devices and components following defined rework or repair procedures.
  • Follow established work instructions, operating procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain detailed logs of machine performance, failure trends, and maintenance actions.
  • Support the engineering team during process development and qualification runs.
  • Perform data collection and assist in generating reports or documentation as needed.
  • Escalate recurring or critical issues to the Equipment Engineer or Section Supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with cleanroom standards.
  • Provide backup support for operators when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager, Section Manager, or Production Supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Preferred Education: Vocational Course Graduate or Associate’s Degree
  • Required Experience: 1 year of experience in equipment operation, troubleshooting, or device assembly in a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred Experience:
    • 3 years of experience as a Production or Equipment Technician in semiconductor, photonics, or electronics manufacturing.
    • Experience with automated machinery, sensors, pneumatic systems, or robotic handling equipment.
    • Experience with microscopes, soldering, hand tools, and measurement instruments.
    • Familiarity with failure mode analysis, rework processes, or quality control methods.
Work Environment
  • Must be comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and wearing required garments.
  • No make-up or perfume is permitted in the cleanroom area
