Mod Op is looking for a Marketing Data & AI Engineer who combines strong data engineering skills with a deep understanding of marketing technology. In this role, you'll help build intelligent customer data solutions, power personalization, and develop AI-driven insights that improve marketing performance and customer experiences.
We're seeking someone who understands both how marketing data is built and how marketers use it to drive acquisition, engagement, and retention.
What You'll Do
Implement and optimize Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) such as Segment, Tealium, Adobe Real-Time CDP, ActionIQ, or similar.
Design data pipelines that connect marketing, CRM, and customer data systems.
Build AI and machine learning solutions for audience segmentation, lead scoring, churn prediction, personalization, and campaign optimization.
Integrate and manage data across Salesforce, Marketo, and other marketing technologies.
Develop dashboards and reporting that help marketing teams make data-driven decisions.
Partner with marketing, product, and business teams to turn data into actionable insights.
Requirements We're Looking For
3+ years of experience in marketing technology, marketing analytics, data engineering, or related fields.
Hands-on experience with a Customer Data Platform (CDP).
Experience working with Salesforce data and Marketo integrations.
Strong understanding of marketing attribution, customer journeys, and campaign measurement.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
Experience with AI/ML tools and frameworks, including modern LLM technologies.
Experience building dashboards in Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
Nice to Have
Salesforce Data Cloud or Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama)
Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)
Demandbase, 6sense, or other ABM platforms
dbt, Airflow, Spark, or similar data tools
