Position Summary
The Server is responsible for providing outstanding hospitality while executing JINYAs corporate steps of service. This role requires strong menu knowledge, attention to detail, suggestive selling skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Greet all guests within 60 seconds with a warm, genuine introduction
  • Follow JINYAs corporate steps of service from greeting to farewell
  • Guide guests through the menu with full knowledge of ramen, small plates, cocktails, mocktails, and modifiers
  • Ask about allergies and dietary restrictions before taking orders
  • Practice effective suggestive selling (speed items, add-ons, pairings, desserts)
  • Accurately enter orders and confirm items before sending to the kitchen
  • Deliver food and beverages following proper naming and placement procedures
  • Maintain awareness of table maintenance (pre-bussing, refilling drinks, resetting tables within 2 minutes)
  • Follow all POS procedures and proper cash handling guidelines
  • Maintain clean sections and assist teammates when needed
  • Comply with uniform standards and appearance expectations
  • Promote guest rewards program and encourage reviews
