Lead Mobility Product Manager

Overview

AT&T is seeking an experienced, strategic, and customer-focused Mobility Product Manager to drive the development, execution, and lifecycle management of mobility products and services. This role is responsible for defining product vision, building business cases, managing product roadmaps, and delivering innovative mobility solutions that meet customer needs while driving revenue growth, profitability, and market leadership.

The ideal candidate combines strong product management experience with business acumen, market analysis expertise, technical knowledge, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams through the entire product lifecycle. This individual will collaborate closely with Technology, UX, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations, and external partners to deliver high-impact solutions for consumer and business customers.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Develop and execute product strategies aligned with corporate objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities.

  • Define product vision, value proposition, and long-term roadmap for mobility products and services.

  • Identify opportunities to drive revenue growth, margin expansion, market share, and customer satisfaction.

  • Present product strategy, roadmaps, business cases, and performance updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Own the complete product lifecycle from ideation, concept validation, and business case development through launch, optimization, and retirement.

  • Lead product planning, development, implementation, launch readiness, and post-launch performance management.

  • Monitor product success metrics, customer feedback, operational performance, and financial results to drive continuous improvement.

  • Manage multiple products, initiatives, and priorities simultaneously while ensuring successful execution.

Business Case & Financial Management

  • Develop comprehensive business cases supporting new product concepts, features, and enhancements.

  • Manage product budgets, funding requests, capital investment processes, and financial planning activities.

  • Maintain accountability for product financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, cost management, and P&L results.

  • Analyze business outcomes and make data-driven recommendations to maximize customer and shareholder value.

Market Research & Customer Insights

  • Conduct market research, customer analysis, competitive intelligence, and trend analysis.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies, mobility industry developments, and customer behaviors to identify innovation opportunities.

  • Assess addressable market size, revenue potential, customer segments, and competitive positioning.

  • Translate customer insights into actionable product enhancements and new product opportunities.

Requirements Definition & Product Development

  • Gather, prioritize, and translate customer, business, and technical requirements into product features and specifications.

  • Develop product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, service guides, and supporting documentation.

  • Partner with engineering and technology teams to ensure solutions align with customer and business objectives.

  • Drive prioritization decisions balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, business value, cost, and timing.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Product, Technology, Engineering, UX/UI Design, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Customer Care, Operations, Legal, and external partners.

  • Coordinate with development teams using Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Partner with UX teams to create customer-centric experiences and improve usability and adoption.

  • Collaborate with pricing, contracting, and go-to-market teams to develop competitive product offerings.

  • Work with third-party technology suppliers and vendors to improve cost structures, functionality, and service capabilities.

Product Performance & Optimization

  • Monitor product KPIs, adoption metrics, customer satisfaction, and market performance.

  • Use analytics and customer feedback to identify product improvements and growth opportunities.

  • Generate product performance reports, business analyses, and recommendations for stakeholders.

  • Drive ongoing product enhancements and innovation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • MBA preferred.

Experience

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience managing customer-facing products or services.

  • Proven success managing products throughout the full lifecycle from concept through launch and ongoing optimization.

  • Experience developing product roadmaps, business cases, product requirements, and go-to-market strategies.

  • Experience managing budgets, financial business cases, funding requests, and product performance metrics.

  • Experience working in Agile product development environments.

  • Experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights analysis.

  • Experience presenting to senior leaders and executive stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Strong product management methodology and product lifecycle management expertise.

  • Strong business, financial, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to develop and manage P&L-driven business cases.

  • Expertise in translating customer and technical requirements into successful product solutions.

  • Experience with wireless, mobility, telecommunications, connected device, IoT, or mobility services products.

  • Experience managing products supporting both consumer and business customers.

  • Understanding of UX/UI principles and customer-centered design methodologies.

  • Experience working with third-party technology partners and vendors.

  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Product management certifications (e.g., Pragmatic, CSPO, SAFe Product Manager, or equivalent) are a plus.

Our Lead Product Management & Develop jobs earn between $128,400.00 - $192,600.00 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
