Job Summary and Qualifications

Position Summary

The Product Manager, MEDITECH Expanse Mobility, is responsible for end to end product management of mobile EHR solutions that enable clinicians to securely access, document, and act on patient information across care settings. This role oversees the intake to delivery lifecycle for Expanse Mobility capabilities, including mobile workflows, device integration, and clinician experience optimization. 

This position ensures alignment between enterprise digital strategy, clinical priorities, and MEDITECH Expanse Mobility roadmap. The Product Manager partners with clinical leadership, informatics, ITG, vendor teams, and operational stakeholders to deliver scalable, high adoption mobile solutions that improve clinician efficiency, reduce friction in care delivery, and support patient safety and quality outcomes. 

Major Responsibilities: 

  • Manage intake and prioritization of Mobility and mobile EHR work requests, including enhancements, integrations, and clinician-driven optimization opportunities
  • Manage and maintain the Expanse Mobility product roadmap, aligned to enterprise digital strategy, clinician experience goals, and MEDITECH release cycles
  • Partner with clinical stakeholders to design and optimize mobile workflows, including provider documentation, order entry, results review, notifications, and care team communication
  • Lead cross functional coordination across design, build, testing, device validation, and deployment for mobile EHR solutions
  • Ensure mobile platform performance, reliability, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards
  • Drive adoption and effective use of mobile solutions through workflow alignment, usability improvements, and clinician engagement strategies
  • Collaborate with MEDITECH vendor teams on roadmap alignment, issue resolution, and delivery of new Mobility capabilities
  • Facilitate quarterly planning, release management, and deployment strategies for Mobility enhancements and upgrades
  • Partner with infrastructure and endpoint teams to support mobile device strategy, including MDM, device provisioning, and support models
  • Monitor production performance, user feedback, and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities and reduce clinician burden
  • Lead post implementation reviews and continuous improvement efforts to refine mobile workflows and product performance
  • Maintain governance across change control, configuration standards, and release processes for Mobility solutions
  • Develop and maintain documentation, knowledge base content, and standard operating procedures for mobile EHR products
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on roadmap progress, risks, adoption metrics, and value realization
  • Support enterprise initiatives such as digital front door, care coordination, and clinician experience programs through mobile capabilities
  • Occasional travel may be required to support business initiatives.
  • Adhere to the organization's "Code of Conduct" and "Mission and Value Statement.”
  •  Perform additional duties as assigned 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong experience with MEDITECH Expanse, with preference for Mobility and mobile EHR capabilities
  • Deep understanding of clinician workflows across inpatient and ambulatory settings, including provider and nursing use cases
  • Experience managing mobile applications within healthcare environments, including iOS and Android platforms
  • Knowledge of mobile device management, security frameworks, and healthcare compliance requirements such as HIPAA
  • Proven ability to drive clinician adoption and improve user experience for digital health tools
  • Strong product management discipline, including roadmap development, backlog management, and stakeholder alignment
  • Experience working with vendor partners to influence product direction and resolve issues
  • Ability to operate effectively within complex, matrixed healthcare organizations
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills with focus on outcomes and value delivery
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage clinical, technical, and executive audiences
  • Experience with workflow optimization, human centered design, and usability principles preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentation capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree *Required
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT, EHR, or digital health products required Required
  • 3+ years of experience in product management or related leadership roles preferred Preferred
  • Experience with MEDITECH Expanse Mobility or comparable mobile EHR platforms preferred Required
  • Experience supporting clinician facing digital tools and mobile workflows strongly preferred Preferred
  •  Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
