Ultrasound Technician – Mobile Imaging (Part-Time / PRN)

RapidX is a growing mobile X-ray and ultrasound provider serving New York, New Jersey, and Florida. We bring diagnostic imaging directly to patients, offering a more flexible and independent work environment compared to traditional hospital settings.

Job Type:
Part-Time / PRN (Per Diem)

Compensation:
$35–$45/hour based on experience, with opportunity for growth

Job Overview / Technician’s Responsibilities:

We are seeking a motivated Ultrasound Technician to join our mobile imaging team in the Rochester, NY area. This role offers the opportunity to work independently, travel locally, and provide high-quality patient care in a non-hospital setting.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program

  • Knowledge and experience with general, vascular, and cardiac ultrasound is a plus. Willingness to cross-train in other areas is encouraged

  • Must be registered or eligible to sit for the registry of one or more modalities

  • Comfortable with local travel and working independently

  • Ability to lift and transport portable imaging equipment, including navigating stairs as needed

  • Demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and ability to work independently

  • Strong communication and patient care skills
