Kenworth Northeast, a premier independently owned truck dealership, is currently seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Mobile Service Technician to join our team at our Smithfield, RI location. *Salary range for this position is $23 - $60/hour depending on experience*
Requirements
  • Valid Drivers License with a clean MVR. CDL not required but is a plus.
  • Required to pass a NON CDL Dot physical
  • Minimum 4 years hands-on experience.
  • Road service/mobile tech experience preferred
  • Experience in a truck dealership preferred.
  • Deep understanding of Air Conditioning theory, air brake systems, ABS systems, & modern electrical CAN.
  • CAT, MX & Cummins Engine proficiency.
  • Proficiency in the use of Cummins Guidanz and PACCAR Diagnostic Assistant.
  • Be able to complete Paccar electric and MX engine training within a given time frame
  • Understanding and adherence to supplier specific requirements and warranty process.
  • Ownership of tools necessary to perform the duties described.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using a laptop computer and Microsoft office programs.
  • Work safely in an offsite environment
