Mobile Fleet Specialists of Birmingham has another DIESEL TECHNICIAN opening!!

We are looking for a Diesel Technician to join our team and be part of one of the fastest growing companies in the Greater Huntsville Area! You will be responsible for servicing and repairs of Medium to Heavy Duty Diesel Trucks and Trailers.

Responsibilities:

  • Proven ability to perform diagnostics and repairs on Medium to Heavy Duty Diesel Trucks and Trailers
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance services
  • Use diagnostic tools to diagnose basic to complex diesel engine issues
  • Perform quality control inspections prior to release of vehicle

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a mechanic (3-5 years experience required)
  • Knowledge of shop equipment, must have own tools applicable to scope of work to be performed
  • Must be willing to continued investment of tools as needed
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to interact with ownership, shop management, and customer base
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and team environment
