Mobile Field Service Engineer – GE MRI

Heritage Imaging is on the lookout for a talented Mobile Field Service Engineer with proven experience supporting GE MRI systems—someone ready to hit the road, solve complex problems, and make a real impact in patient care.

Why Heritage Imaging?

Step into a company that champions its people. We invest heavily in technical growth, hands-on learning, and career advancement. You’ll join a collaborative, mission-driven team that feels like family and works hard together to get the job done.

Position Overview

If you thrive on troubleshooting, love working with advanced technology, and enjoy being the go-to expert for customers, this role is built for you. As a Mobile Field Service Engineer, you’ll take ownership of installing, repairing, and maintaining medical imaging equipment—including GE MRI scanners—while supporting mobile imaging units across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair GE MRI imaging systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance and respond to urgent service calls
  • Diagnose and repair computer systems, electronic components, and mechanical assemblies
  • Support mechanical and electrical upkeep of mobile imaging units, including trailers and lift gates
  • Execute break-fix repairs and routine maintenance tasks
  • Travel throughout Oregon and Washington, with occasional overnight trips

Heritage Imaging is proud to offer a competitive, comprehensive benefits package for both our full‑time team members.

Salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000 Exempt Salary per year

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working with GE MRI medical imaging equipment
  • Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET strongly preferred
  • Prior experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment, ideally in a field service environment
  • Strong computer and networking knowledge; proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair complex systems
  • Skilled in using technical vocabulary and following both verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and site drawings with minimal guidance
  • Strong organizational skills, self-discipline, and the ability to work independently under pressure
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving work environment
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute effectively to team goals
  • Clear, professional communication skills—both written and verbal

Full-Time Benefits

  • Competitive pay
  • PTO accrual available immediately—no waiting period
  • 401(k) with employer match after 90 days
  • Hotel accommodations and per diem for travel, when applicable
  • Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance
  • Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Company-paid Life Insurance
  • Identity Protection Services
  • Company Vehicle for field operations
