As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol and drive throughout a manufacturing and industrial location, helping to maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations as needed, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and site leadership when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor, vendor, and delivery screening in accordance with site procedures.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and/or security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
