Staff Registered Nurse

Job Title: Staff Registered Nurse

Profession: Nursing

Specialty: Dialysis Nurse, Dialysis Chronic

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 10-13 hour shifts AM & PM

Hours per Shift: 36 hours guaranteed

Experience: Minimum 1 year nursing experience. Previous Dialysis experience required. Prior experience in Acute or Ambulatory Nursing preferred.

License: Must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Certifications: Current certification of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with a Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers card with American Heart Association.

Must-Have: Must be able to work at various clinic locations. Must be able to work any shift (AM/PM) schedule depending upon staffing needs.

Description: The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) will oversee the delivery of dialysis and the care of patients. The RN will be responsible for providing education to patients. The RN will supervise Dialysis Technicians and adjust treatment plans as per standing orders and care plans. Monitoring patient outcomes will be part of the RN's duties. The RN will administer medications and participate in quality improvement projects. Collaboration with other members of the patient care team, such as social workers, dietitians, and nephrologists, is essential. This is a chronic, in-center position. The RN will be required to work any day from Monday to Saturday based on staffing needs.
