Job Overview:
TA Travel Center / LV Petroleum is seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Diesel Technician to support our operations in the Wichita area. In this role, you will provide on-site service by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers in a timely, professional manner. This position is critical in helping drivers get back on the road quickly and safely.

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate hourly, plus commission opportunities.

Must be able to relocate.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide mobile repair and maintenance services for heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers.
Diagnose mechanical issues, identify wear conditions, and recommend appropriate repairs.
Complete repairs efficiently and accurately within scope of expertise.
Deliver exceptional customer service while working in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
Maintain a strong understanding of products, parts, and services offered.
Follow all safety procedures and report any unsafe conditions or practices.
Collaborate with service advisors and management to ensure customer needs are met.
Uphold service standards and support specialized customer programs as required.

Requirements

Must be 21 or older and be able to pass DOT Physical

Good verbal and written communication skills

Previous experience in repair or parts shop preferred

Basic computer skills

Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, some holidays in interior and exterior conditions

A valid driver's license
