Job description

The Opportunity NTS is looking for a Tactical Video Systems Engineer. This role will play a pivotal role in the design, integration, and sustainment of Mobile Video Systems (MVS) deployed in high-threat environments. Tactical Video Systems Engineer is a subject matter expert who will work closely with Protective Technology, Global Communication System (GSC), C&I, and Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) teams to ensure that all MVS projects and field deployments maintain consistency, reliability, and security across all deployed systems. Key Responsibilities (Principal Duties and Accountabilities *Essential Functions) * Supports U.S. Department of State C&I requirements in multiple overseas theaters in potentially high-threat environments and may be required to deploy TDY to these locations in support of the C&I engineering effort.
* During overseas deployments, the C&I Engineer may be required to rotate between theaters and to multiple locations within each theater.
* Coordinate and deliver technical support for video systems, ensuring systems are always functioning at peak performance. * Identify, test, and implement new technologies. * Conduct proof of concept trials and manage implementations in both testing and training environments. * Determine training requirements for in-field technicians and develop a comprehensive MVS digital training curriculum. * Adhere strictly to the Configuration Management guidelines established within Protective Technology.
* Collaborating with vendors, industry partners, and other government agencies to establish standardized certification processes for mobile system and program-specific technologies
* Develop comprehensive test plans as well as provide on-site U.S. Department of State oversight during verification testing in accordance with configuration management protocols.
* Demonstrate and apply a broad knowledge of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.
* Apply complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of area of specialization.
