Operations Manager | Sapulpa, Oklahoma

Movement Search and Delivery is working with a market-leading industrial manufacturing and recycling organization in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to identify and evaluate an Operations Manager.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to join a 60+ person, 24/7 manufacturing operation that is positioned for significant growth and transformation.

The facility has already begun adding new people and new processes, with continued growth planned. We are looking for a strong, process-driven operations leader who can help lead that evolution, develop the organization, and build the operating systems needed for the next stage of growth.

The Operations Manager will report to an experienced Plant Manager and lead four Production Supervisors across the 24/7 operation.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building teams, improving processes, driving accountability, and leading through change.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead day-to-day production operations across a 24/7 heavy industrial facility
  • Directly lead and develop four Production Supervisors
  • Build a strong Safety First culture throughout the operation
  • Coach and mentor supervisors and team leaders
  • Lead the implementation of new processes, operating procedures, and performance standards
  • Drive change management as the facility continues to grow
  • Establish production priorities and schedules to improve operational effectiveness
  • Manage and improve key operational KPIs
  • Develop action plans to drive year-over-year improvement in safety, quality, productivity, cost, and employee engagement
  • Utilize Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools to improve plant performance
  • Help develop and train employees as the organization adds new talent

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of manufacturing/industrial operations experience
  • 3+ years of operations leadership experience
  • Strong people leadership and employee development skills
  • Experience in a heavy industrial environment strongly preferred
  • Experience managing operations involving large mobile equipment is a plus
  • Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing
  • Six Sigma experience is highly desirable
  • Experience leading organizations through growth and change management
  • Process-driven leadership style with a strong focus on accountability and measurable results
