Location: Leavenworth KS
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 40+ hours/week; evenings, nights, and some weekends
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary
Extra Hands Services, Inc. is actively hiring an experienced Area Supervisor - Janitorial / Commercial Cleaning to lead operations across multiple client sites in the Leavenworth, KS Area.
This is a field-based, hands-on management role ideal for a leader who thrives in multi-site supervision, team development, quality control inspections, and customer service within the commercial cleaning and facilities management industry.
What You'll Do
  • Oversee multiple janitorial accounts and commercial cleaning sites
  • Lead and support Site Supervisors, custodians, and cleaning crews
  • Perform routine inspections, audits, and quality assurance checks
  • Ensure all services meet client expectations and company standards
  • Provide hands-on training, coaching, and performance management
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, call-offs, and coverage across locations
  • Build strong client relationships and resolve service issues quickly
  • Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment, supplies, and inventory
  • Enforce OSHA safety standards, compliance, and best practices
  • Drive operational efficiency, accountability, and service excellence
What We're Looking For
  • Area Supervisor, Janitorial Supervisor, or Custodial Manager experience
  • Strong leader with a hands-on, field management approach
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and team-building skills
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality control and inspections
  • Ability to manage multiple job sites and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience in commercial cleaning, facilities maintenance, or building services
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (required)
  • Flexibility for evening, night, and weekend operations

Physical Requirements
