  • Oversee the end-to-end mobile development lifecycle, shipping high-quality updates to the App Store and Google Play every week.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, and Data to prioritize work that delivers the greatest value for customers and the business.
  • Mentor and coach engineers, helping them grow technically while making sound architectural and design decisions that balance customer needs, business goals, and long-term maintainability.
  • Recruit and develop exceptional mobile engineers, providing thoughtful feedback, career guidance, and opportunities for growth.
  • Help define the team's technical strategy and product roadmap using customer insights, engineering expertise, and business metrics.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and collaboration by celebrating successes and helping the team learn from challenges.
  • Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate engineering workflows, improve code quality, and increase team productivity.

About you
  • You're passionate about building beautiful, customer-focused mobile experiences that delight users.
  • You have 6+ years of experience developing for iOS or Android, including 3+ years managing teams of primarily mid to senior level mobile engineers delivering consumer-facing products. Our mobile stack includes Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose.
  • You have a proven track record of building high-performing teams and connecting day-to-day engineering work to meaningful customer and business outcomes.
  • You enjoy mentoring engineers at all career stages and helping them grow their technical and leadership skills.
  • You have experience using modern AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar technologies to improve developerproductivity.
