Job description

Hiring:  Mobile Applications -- Director 

Weโ€™re looking for a Senior Director of Mobile Engineering to lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of a large-scale consumer mobile platform.

This is a full-time opportunity for a hands-on mobile engineering leader who has previously owned mobile development end-to-end and led sizable engineering teams.

  • Previous experience at the Director level or above leading mobile engineering teams
  • Strong background working in an AWS environment
  • Deep hands-on experience building and delivering mobile applications across iOS, Android, and React Native
  • Must have had end-to-end ownership of Mobile Engineering, not just mobile as one area within a broader software organization
  • Experience leading teams of approximately 15โ€“40 engineers
  • Comfortable staying close to the technology and getting involved in the development process when needed
  • Strong experience making and influencing mobile architecture decisions
  • Proven ownership of engineering delivery, execution, scalability, and technical direction
  • Ability to balance people leadership with hands-on technical leadership
