Job description

About the role:

As a Design Drafter I you will transform initial rough product designs using computer aided design (CAD) into working documents. You will review engineering drawing and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards.

You will report to the Manager, thermal Hydraulic Product Engineering, and work a hybrid/mobile schedule based in Columbia, SC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create models and drawings for nuclear fuel and nuclear fuel components
  • Compile engineering data for customer deliverables
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop designs
  • Support engineering change orders and other department business processes
Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with computer aided design (CAD)
  • 0+ years of experience
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks, ENOVIA, and 3DExperience helpful
  • Associate's degree in a related area helpful
