Job Summary:
InterSources Inc. is a Small, Woman, and Minority-Owned Business Enterprise with over 18 years of experience in IT consulting services. They are seeking a SharePoint Engineer – Project Lead to design and develop a Client's Employee Resource Hub using SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365, ensuring compliance with state cybersecurity standards and providing training and documentation for users.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop the Client`s Employee Resource Hub using SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
• Create a branded, ADA-compliant, mobile-responsive design consistent with agency identity.
• Develop and configure SharePoint site collections, subsites, and hub structures for all divisions.
• Implement secure Azure AD authentication, single sign-on, and compliance with state cybersecurity standards.
• Enable functionalities like: Division landing pages, blogs, news feeds, and announcements. Quick link buttons, event calendars, and YouTube/media embeds. File upload and management (MP4, MP3, JPG, PDF, etc.). Polls, feedback forms, and analytics tracking.
• Provide training and documentation for administrators and end-users.
• Lead testing (UAT), deployment, and post-launch support.
• Coordinate with the Department of Administration to ensure adherence to M365 governance.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint Online sites.
• 3+ years of experience with Teams or SharePoint administration in Office 365.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory.
• 5+ years of HTML/CSS experience within SharePoint Online environments.
Preferred:
• UI/UX design experience for SharePoint intranets.
• Prior experience developing SharePoint sites for the Department of Administration shared services (State of SC).
• Familiarity with state-level IT governance, accessibility, and security standards.
