Job description

The Mobile Device Support Technician will provide technical support for the Real Time Field Force (RTFF)
mobile application used by over 250 ENS CODE Inspectors City-Wide. This position supports HPD's mission
to maintain and enhance mobile technology solutions that enable efficient field inspections and real-time
data processing.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform daily technical support for agency mobile devices including Android and Apple iOS
devices
• Provide troubleshooting and technical end user support for mobile devices and Mobile
Hotspot Devices
• Manage inventory of mobile devices and accessories
• Administer Mobile Device Management (MDM) software solutions
• Execute device and software rollouts across the organization
• Perform device upgrades and OS updates
• Support mobile application functionality and user access
• Maintain detailed technical knowledge of mobile device standards and best practices
• Document technical issues and resolutions
• Coordinate with development team on mobile application issues
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years in each of the following areas:
• Full time Mobile Device Technician Support role supporting Android/Apple iOS devices
including Mobile Hotspot Devices
• Full time Mobile Device Inventory Management
• Mobile Device Management Software (1.5 years minimum)
Technical Requirements
• Detailed technical knowledge of mobile device techniques, standards, and state-of-the-art
practices
• Experience with Android and Apple iOS platforms
• Understanding of Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems
• Knowledge of mobile hotspot devices and connectivity solutions
• Familiarity with mobile application support and troubleshooting

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Desirable Skills
• Experience working on projects in the public sector
• Experience with public assistance programs
• Knowledge of field inspection processes
• Understanding of real-time data systems
Education Requirements
Minimum: High School diploma and 1.5 years of experience performing the required functions
Work Environment
• Primarily on-site work preferred (40 hours per week)
• Remote work options may be considered
• Must be available for device rollouts and emergency technical support
• Time off must be requested and approved in advance
Equipment Requirements
• Contractor must provide voice/data activated cellular phone during contract period
