The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Development Application Developer to join our team. The Application Developer will build and support internal and external websites, expanded data processing and reporting, while defining future requirements.

This position is 100% on-site at our Pontiac, MI location. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred Computer Science or IT)
  • 2+ years of .Net Application Development experience
  • Visual Studio experience with ASP.Net / Razor Pages / MVC / Web Form/ C# / CSS / UI Design & Coding
  • MSSQL Database knowledge for creating and maintaining tables / views / stored procedures
  • MS Reporting Services understanding of creating and maintaining SSRS Reports
  • Familiar with Micro Services or WCF Service solutions
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Other helpful experience may include:

  •  Kubernetes / Rancher for containerized deployment
  •  CI/CD pipeline scripting for seamless development
  •  PowerBI for data dashboarding, including summary data, detail charts, grids and trends
  •  Data analytics/ trend analysis
  •  Mobile android/iPad (platform independent) development

Toolset / Frameworks (helpful but not required):

  • .Net Core, .Net 4.x
  • Visual Studio (old and new)
  • Git Repos, JIRA Issue / Project tracking
  • Database Design of Tables, Jobs, SSIS Packages
