Position Summary: This position is responsible for creating and maintaining a best-in-class user interface and experience of the Saints and Pelicans mobile applications. With a focus on growing the teams' existing fan base via our platforms, our Mobile App Specialist will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, solid front-end coding and design experience, and an excitement for the latest mobile app technologies. What You'll Be Doing:
  • Conceptualize, design and construct clean and intuitive user interfaces and experiences across iOS/Android guidelines
  • Consistently update information and features on the team apps and refine design and functionality based on user feedback and testing
  • Craft and execute marketing messaging with a consistent brand voice and support additional promotional team and league tentpoles
  • Develop sponsorable assets and opportunities within the team apps
  • Maintain detailed calendar with team's app provider regarding app updates and feature enhancements plus effectively communicate action items with developers
  • Expand our segmentation opportunities to deliver customized messaging to our fan base
  • Manage various gamification executions & app-driven sweepstakes
  • Create and capitalize on key season moments through vertical video content
  • Distribute key analytics and reporting to internal stakeholders
  • Game duties (home and away) as assigned
  • Remain current in the latest technology and advancements in mobile app design and innovation.

What You'll Bring:
  • 2+ years of experience in web development and design, computer science, app development, software engineering, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Proficient in front-end web and mobile technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and a strong sense of digital design across iOS and Android devices.
  • Advanced knowledge of Yinzcam CMS preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of current UI/UX industry best practices and techniques
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma, including creating, editing and optimizing creative assets
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira, etc.)
  • Experience with video shooting and editing a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
  • Must have a great work ethic and attitude
  • Dedicated team player
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the NFL/NBA schedules
