Our challenge

We are seeking a skilled iOS/Swift Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Apple platforms. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Swift and iOS development, a solid understanding of software engineering principles, and a passion for creating intuitive, reliable, and high-performing mobile experiences.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York, NY is $150k - $160k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role Responsibilities
  • Design and develop iOS applications using Swift and Apple development frameworks.
  • Build responsive, scalable, and user-friendly mobile interfaces.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend developers, and QA engineers to deliver new features.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into well-structured, maintainable code.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, and backend systems.
  • Write unit tests, UI tests, and integration tests to ensure application quality.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance and application issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
  • Optimize applications for performance, stability, security, and battery efficiency.
  • Ensure applications comply with Apple’s design guidelines and App Store requirements.
  • Support application releases, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Stay current with emerging iOS technologies, tools, and industry trends.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of professional experience developing iOS applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Swift and familiarity with Objective-C.
  • Experience with Xcode, Swift Package Manager, and Git.
  • Solid knowledge of UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
  • Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming.
  • Understanding of iOS architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVC, or VIPER.
  • Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
  • Knowledge of memory management, application lifecycle, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
