Mobile Application Developer - Angular / Capacitor
About the Role
We are looking for aMobile Application Developerto extend our enterprise DCIM platform into a focused, mobile-first application for iOS and Android.
Our existing product is a matureAngularweb application. Rather than creating a separate mobile product and codebase, the mobile experience will be developed within our existing Angular application and packaged for iOS and Android usingCapacitor.
You will work alongside our existing Angular development team, with your primary focus onmobile development, Capacitor, native device integration, and mobile UX.
Responsibilities
  • Build mobile-first Angular screens and workflows for our DCIM application.
  • Integrate and maintainCapacitorfor iOS and Android.
  • Configure, build, debug, sign, and release applications usingXcode and Android Studio.
  • Integrate device capabilities such as QR/barcode scanning, camera, push notifications, biometrics, and local storage.
  • Design and implementoffline-capable functionality, including local data persistence and synchronization.
  • Integrate with our existing APIs, authentication, authorization, and RBAC.
  • Collaborate with our Angular development team to reuse existing services, models, and business logic.
  • Help establish mobile development standards and CI/CD processes.
  • Prepare and maintain releases through the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Required
  • Bachelors or higher degree in computer science or software engineering.
  • Hands on experience withAngular and TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience withCapacitor or a comparable hybrid mobile framework.
  • Experience developing and deploying applications forboth iOS and Android.
  • Working knowledge ofXcode and Android Studio.
  • Strong understanding of mobile-first UX and responsive design.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs and native device capabilities.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred
  • Experience buildingoffline-first applicationsand synchronization architectures.
  • Experience with SQLite or other local databases.
  • QR/barcode scanning, push notifications, biometrics, or camera integration.
  • Experience with App Store Connect and Google Play Console
  • Experience developing custom Capacitor plugins or working with Swift/Kotlin.
