Software Development Engineering - Advisor
TITLE: Software Development Engineering - Advisor
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Lead the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and system design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, API documentation, and system architecture diagrams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, quality assurance engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, set technical direction, and deliver high-quality products. Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues, debugging and resolving technical challenges in a timely manner. Conduct in-depth code reviews, providing constructive feedback to junior and mid-level engineers to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to established standards. Participate in design and code reviews for peers and junior engineers.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving Android development experience. Prior experience must include: 4 years using Object-Oriented programming language including Java and Kotlin; 3 years using end-to-end software development tools including Gradle, GIT, and Jenkins; 3 years working with MySQL and SQLite; 3 years working in web technology including REST framework; 2 years using Mockito and Robolectric; and 2 years working in an Agile environment including participating in Sprint planning and Scrum meetings.
