Job description

Substitute Teaching Position available. Individuals interested must complete the following:Complete an application through the Boonville School District.If you have a teaching certificate or substitute certificate, attach with your application.If you do not have a substitute certificate, the following information will apply to you.Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) processes substitute teacher certificates. Each individual must register at www.dese.mo.gov http://www.dese.mo.gov and set up a user profile

DESE will require original transcripts be sent to them.Individuals must be fingerprinted. DESE requires individuals to pre-register online through the State Highway Patrol's Missouri Automated Criminal History Site (MACHS). The registration site is located at www.machs.mo.gov http://www.machs.mo.gov When registering for fingerprints you will use the district name and code: Boonville R-I Schools 0537 (sub).The applicant pays the cost of fingerprinting, which is $44.80

The Boonville School District will reimburse the applicant, provided (1) the original receipt received after completing the fingerprints is submitted to the District and (2) after the individual has completed 5 days of substituting in the District.DESE will issue the Substitute Certificate after they have received original transcripts and background check.
