Scott Equipment Company is inviting welders to join our team in New Prague, MN!

Scott Equipment builds custom equipment, so we DON'T have assembly lines which means you'll have variety in your day to day work. We will train you on the job! We are looking for people who fit our culture, are willing to work hard, and show up on time!


Qualified candidate requirements:

ยท Ability to take direction, be a team player, and show up on time

ยท Ability to utilize a variety of shop tools & machinery

ยท Must be able to lift 75 pounds


Primary Objective of the Position: The Fabricator performs fabricating operations on all products including: Mig, stick, shearing, cutting, drilling, grinding on carbon steel and stainless steel. The Fabricator is focused on producing high quality machines in an efficient manner.

Major Areas of Accountability:

  • On assigned job orders clarifies process with Team Lead, clarifies procedures, ensures materials are available and understands specifications and deadline
  • Reviews drawings and machine set up prior to project initiation
  • Knowledge of hand tools per project
  • Under direction from Team Lead will perform:
  • Rigging
  • Shearing
  • Rolling
  • Drilling
  • Grinding and polishing
  • Stick welding
  • Mig welding
  • Plasma cutting
  • Ensures a safe work environment by following safety requirements and policies.
  • Performs other responsibilities and special projects as assigned
