Job Title: Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist
Location: Minneapolis
Job Type: Contract (1099)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 1-Year Base + 4 Option Years
Compensation: $750k plus per year


Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist to join a dynamic clinical team in Minneapolis, MN . This is a long-term contract opportunity offering a consistent weekday schedule, competitive compensation, and exposure to a broad range of complex surgical cases, with a primary focus on cardiothoracic procedures.


Schedule & Workload
  • Monday – Friday
  • 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Approximately 80 hours per pay period
  • 2 weeks of paid time off annually
  • PTO
  • Federal Holidays off

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver anesthesia services across multiple clinical environments:
    • Operating Room (OR)
    • GI Suite
    • Cardiac Catheterization Lab
    • Interventional Radiology (IR)
  • Manage a diverse case mix, including:
    • Cardiothoracic procedures (primary focus)
    • Orthopedic, vascular, neurosurgical, ENT, ophthalmologic, and general surgery cases
  • Provide comprehensive perioperative care:
    • Pre-operative patient assessments
    • Intraoperative anesthesia management
    • Post-anesthesia care and recovery oversight
  • Support additional clinical functions:
    • ICU patient management
    • Acute and chronic pain management
    • Emergency airway management and intervention
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications
  • Board Certified in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology
  • Active and unrestricted U.S. medical license
  • Must meet all credentialing and privileging requirements
