Role SummaryHarrison County Hospital is hiring a PRN MLT Medical Lab Technician to support timely, accurate diagnostic testing for patient care. This onsite, per diem role works rotating shifts (days/evenings/nights) for 8-24 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
Key responsibilities include specimen collection and processing; operating laboratory instrumentation (hematology, chemistry, and immunology analyzers); analyzing, documenting, and reporting results in the Laboratory Information System (LIS); performing quality control, proficiency testing, and competency activities; supporting inventory management and supply ordering; assisting with procedure development; and maintaining compliance with hospital policies and CLIA '88 requirements.
Required qualifications/skills:
- AMT or ASCP Medical Technologist/MLT certification
- Qualified as CLIA '88 General Supervisor/testing personnel
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and result interpretation
