Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Lab Technician (MLS/MT/MLT) - Northwestern Indiana - Permanent and Full-Time Hire - Click & Apply Now!

Position Overview: This role is responsible for processing specimens, conducting tests, and reporting test results. The tests performed may include waived, moderate, and high complexity tests, as authorized by the Director. The individual will report test results following established procedures. Additionally, this person will actively participate in quality control activities and adhere to quality assurance and quality management standards, as required by the department, JCAHO, CAP, CLIA, and other relevant agencies. Specimen collection may also be required as needed.

  • Shift : 11:00pm-7:30am - Weekend and holiday rotation - added shift differential 
  • FTE: Full Time
  • Associates degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
  • Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology from an accredited college or university. OR Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical or biological sciences.
  • At least 1 year of pertinent full-time clinical laboratory experience or training preferred.
