Types of Cases Preferred: Peds, adolescents
Years of experience REQ: 1
First timers accepted: Yes
Weekend REQ: Rotating Weekends
National Certs REQ: ASCP MLS, MLT, or MT
Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes. Candidates are required to travel to these three sites on a day to day basis: IU North in Carmel, IN. IU Fishers in Fishers, IN (need to be able to work independently at this location; Candidates would get initial training and expected operate in all lab areas: Heme, Blood Bank, Chemistry, Urinalysis and kit testing) and IU West in Avon IN.
Locals accepted: Yes
RTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays
Guaranteed Hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek.
3, 12 hr shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek.
Special Requirements: Generalist with blood bank experience needed. Able to work independently once trained.
Unit Information: Full-service hospital with cancer center for adults and children. 150 beds with 24/7 ER.
